AUCKLAND, September 1st 2005 – Primavera, a global provider of project portfolio management solutions, and Simpl, a leading local New Zealand provider of complementary consulting and IT services, today announced a new partnership to represent Primavera products and related services throughout New Zealand.
Under the terms of the agreement Simpl will act as sole distributor of Primavera products throughout New Zealand, which will be supported through its Project Services division. Steve Keys Director of Business Development for Primavera Australia stated that "the agreement marks a significant step-up in our ability to execute in New Zealand. "We recognise in Simpl the strength and depth required to implement our best of breed project portfolio management software solutions. The agreement aligns a world class tool with a strong network of industry experienced consultants and project managers to create a compelling value proposition for our customers." Andrew Stephenson, Project Services Director at Simpl, agreed adding that "we [Simpl] conducted a detailed review of the market place and determined that Primavera is simply the best tool in the market place a perfect fit to our business strategy. Given Primavera’s commitment to ongoing R&D and its focus on providing superior customer service, we believe this holds true both today and for the future. Stephenson continued: "Simpl will continue to offer all of its current service lines around projects, however the combination of Primavera products and Simpl’s in-depth understanding of the needs of our customers will give organisations the confidence needed to make the right choice when it comes to enablement of their projects capability.
